Your Accommodation:
The cabins at Bellthorpe Stays are situated in idealic settings amidst forest or open paddocks that take in the surrounding atmosphere and ambiance. Wildlife and birds regularly visit the cabins with graded walking tracks located on the property to the waterfalls, rainforest, spring fed creek or lookout that has views over the Mary Valley. Each cabin is well appointed and has every thing that you would require for your stay. Bellthorpe Stays is situated in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland via Maleny, on 400 acres next to Bellthorpe National Park.
Every cabin includes:
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning (warm in winter, cold in summer); ceiling fans.
  • Slow combustion log fire with all materials supplied including matches, kindling, fire lighters, split wood;
  • Lounge: lounge and chairs, coffee table, reading lamp, blue tooth stereo, TV and DVD player.
  • Bedroom: bedding, pillows, bedside table, lamp, luggage rack, wall hooks for clothing, electric blanket in winter.
  • Linen: pillow slips, sheets, blankets, doona, towels, hand towel, bath mat, tea towel.
  • Bathroom and Laundry: washing machine, detergent, clothes rack, laundry tub, pegs, spare towel, hair drier, iron and board, shower, toilet in a separate room in the 2 bedroom cabins.
  • Kitchen: toaster, jug, tea and coffee starter kit, oven and gas cook top, cutlery, crockery, utensels, sauce pans, fry pan, dishes, detergent, good size frig, microwave, cups and glasses, dining table and chairs, place mats.
  • Gas bbq and cooking gear; outdoor setting, bird seed.
  • Use of the Old Dairy Shed guest facilities with free Wi-Fi, games, reference and fiction books, DVDs, clothes drier.
  • Note: Tiny House does not have a Fireplace, TV, washing machine or air con (it does have a room heater and fans). It also has Telstra and Optus service.
BELLTHORPE COTTAGE:
​This is the original timber Cottage with all the modern ammenities for a well deserved escape. Accommodation is self catering with a well equipped kitchen, gas BBQ, wood heater for those cosy nights, wide wrap-around deck with local views and regular visits from King Parrots, finches, lorikeets and plenty of other birds in the spacious garden. The Cottage has a queen bed in an open plan area with a single bed in a separate room. Ideal for singles, couples and friends and is not far from the Old Dairy Shed and main residence. Best for singles, one couple, friends. Sleeps up to a maximum of 3. (N.B. no extra bed). Other features as listed for all cabins

BOWERBIRD CABIN:
Bowerbird Cabin is a well appointed, two bedroom cabin with a queen bed in each bedroom. It is ideal for singles, couples and friends and has every thing that you would require for your stay. The cabin sits at the top of the ridge and is surrounded by rainforest on all sides. There is a carport suitable for most vehicles which houses a gas bbq, and leads to the deck with views into the forest and beyond. Sleeps up to 4, plus one extra on sofa bed in the lounge area. BIRDWING CABIN:
Birdwing Cabin is a well appointed, two bedroom cabin with a queen bed in one bedroom and two singles beds in the other. It is ideal for couples, friends and families and has every thing that you would require for your stay. The cabin sits at the top of the hill and is surrounded by pasture with rainforest to the western side. The cabin has wide windows that take in the view over the property's paddocks and beyond, with a large deck and gas bbq for you to enjoy. BELLTHORPE RETREAT (now open):
Bellthorpe Retreat (160 Willett Rd) is on a neighbouring property to Bellthorpe Stays (200 Willett Rd) and is a spacious, well-appointed one bedroom villa with a king bed in a very roomy bedroom plus full kitchen, bathroom and massive deck overlooking paddocks located to the west. The Retreat is located at the end of the 600 metre driveway going through rainforest and past the babbling brook and is near the top of the hill and is set among lush rainforest with prolific birdlife and wildlife. A palm lined creek transects the property together with a crystal-clear dam that is full all year round. Parts of the 50-acre property graze cattle and there is an avocado orchard on the hill above the Retreat. The Retreat is reserved for singles and couples only, with a limit of 2 people and has everything that you would require for your stay including linen, free Wi-Fi, BBQ, ceiling fans and air-con and other comforts for your stay. During colder times, enjoy the ambience of the double-sided fireplace - cosy and warm in the bedroom and living area! The Retreat is truly a place to connect with nature and a place that you can really enjoy! While staying at the Retreat, you are invited to walk or drive to Bellthorpe Stays and use the Old Dairy Shed (resource centre), walking tracks and waterfalls as well as more birds, wildlife and wilderness. BELLTHORPE TINY HOUSE (opening soon):
Bellthorpe Tiny House is located on the northern boundary of the property beside the National Park and is completely off grid. You will be immersed in nature and the surrounds with all the sights and sounds of the rainforest close by. The Tiny House will have all the modern comforts with queen bed, well set up kitchen, shower and toilet and big deck with views into the rainforest and you will be surrounded by some massive trees, hundreds of years old. The tiny house site is one of the best locations on the property for rainforest birds such as the Paradise Riflebird, Noisy Pitta, Wompoo Fruit Dove as well as other wildlife. Because of its size and location, the Tiny House does not have a Fireplace, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine or air conditioning, but that's what it is all about - getting away from the modern distractions, but still be comfortable! GENERAL Please leave cabins neat and tidy on departure. Recycling bins are provided with guidelines provided on what goes where. Toilets are sensitive septic systems.
