Cabin Choices

The cabins at Bellthorpe Stays are situated in idyllic settings on 400 private acres, amidst forest or open paddocks that take in the surrounding ambience. Wildlife and birds regularly visit the cabins. Take the graded walking tracks located on the property to the private waterfalls, rainforest, spring fed creek or lookout with views over the Mary Valley.We have five self-contained cabins to choose from. Each is well appointed and has all the basic requirements that you would need for your stay.

Bellthorpe Stays is an incredibly beautiful spot that lends itself to great nature photography - from ground to sky with colourful birds, gorgeous wildlife, stunning waterfalls, beautiful plants, vibrant skylines - endless opportunities. Bellthorpe Stays has rainforest, wet sclerophyll, old growth trees, palm groves, riparian, fringe and open paddocks. There's a great variety of birds to observe. Always something to capture and take home on your camera.

Bellthorpe Stays is Ecotourism Accredited on over 400 acres, around 600 metres above sea level. Immerse yourself in nature and reconnect. While here: 
relax at your well-appointed cabin; 
venture to one of private waterfalls; 
test your photography skills; 
engage with the wildlife;  
chat with the visiting birds; 
enjoy a short or long walk;
picnic at the lookout; 
or head off on an extended hike. 
Or slip into Maleny or the other hinterland areas. 
Bellthorpe Stays is next to Bellthorpe National Park, with its great expanse of 7000 hectares of wilderness.

Location

Bellthorpe is a quiet rural locality in the Blackall Ranges in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and is just over an hour from the north side of Brisbane and half an hour to either Maleny or Woodford. Remember to bring your food and personal items with you.
The property has the exceptional feature of not being far from a major city, but nowhere near crowds and congestion.

Tariffs and Specials

Cabins have a weekend tariff or a discounted midweek tariff. Base rate is for one or two people with a per person tariff for more than 2 people.

Bookings are generally for a minimum of 2 nights.
Stays of 7 or more nights are on a special weekly rate.

Pets

We welcome pooches at most cabins at Bellthorpe Stays (except the Tiny House and Retreat). One well behaved pooch is permitted but let us know in advance (two in special circumstances). Common sense rules apply - refer to the pet rules.
